This has been a very quick tour through some of the very important, deep and interesting material relevant for the description of QED and QCD. I hope it has provided some insight and provided you with useful tools for the future. There is of course a lot more to explore! The text books [1, 7] are more practical and closer to the spirit of this course. Other books like [11, 12, 14, 13] contain many more mathematical details that go far beyond this course.
